The 2024 EGR Operator Awards were held on October 24th in the Great Room at Grosvenor House, a lavish venue on London’s Park Lane. Hundreds of industry guests came together to watch the presentation of awards in more than 30 categories and enjoy a sparkling reception, three course dinner and splendid afterparty.
I’m delighted to report that FTD Digital was successful in not one but two award categories.
One of our nominations was for Bingo Affiliate, which we won. This is the second time we’ve won this award; our previous win was in 2021. Although much of our traffic these days is for slots and casino, we retain a strong hold on the bingo niche and pride ourselves on the depth of our product knowledge and on our two very popular tools for bingo enthusiasts, the WDW Bingo Caller and the Best New Bingo Sites Bingo Card Generator.
We were also one of 10 nominees in one of the 8 very prestigious headline categories, Affiliate of the Year. Entrants in headline categories must face a grilling on their submission by a panel of expert judges (face to face or over Zoom) . For FTD Digital, the wonderful Chris Humphries and Harrison Score made a very strong case to the judges. Unfortunately neither of them were able to attend (which is why it’s just me in the photo).
Most of the headline categories have Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, and FTD Digital took the Bronze for Affiliate of the Year.
I’m hugely proud that our small but perfectly formed team placed ahead of several huge international organisations. Well done everyone!
