2019 has been a thrilling year for the FTD family. In February, the flagship brand, Best New Bingo Sites, won the iGB Affiliate Award for Best Bingo Affiliate Site. After a string of consecutive nominations, BNBS was finally recognised for its excellent quality and remarkable improvements over the previous twelve months.
To bookend this landmark year, FTD Digital’s parent company Ubud LTD, has been shortlisted for a 2019 EGR Operator Award, the most prestigious in the iGaming Industry.
Ubud LTD has been nominated for the Bingo Affiliate of the Year Award in recognition of the ongoing success and improvement of their two bingo affiliate sites; Best New Bingo Sites & WDW Bingo.
According to the award rubric, the key criteria for nomination and, ultimately, victory are:
- Differentiation & Quality of Offering
- Quality and Scale of Traffic
- Growth
- Innovation
- Strong Partner Relationships
Though FTD and Ubud cannot claim the greatest volume of traffic, the team has innovated and instigated improvements that have seen massive growth and the conception of a unique and high quality offering which is unmatched among industry competitors.
FTD Digital maintains incredibly close relationships with its partners thanks in large part to the work of Ubud’s Commercial Manager, Sharon Joy.
Joy, who joined the company in August 2017, has revolutionised Ubud’s approach to client relations by brokering bespoke marketing packages with each individual partner. By tailoring an approach to each brand’s unique needs, FTD have fostered close and fruitful partnerships with some of the world’s most important iOperators at 888, Playtech, Zenzero and many more.
Joy said in a statement;
“It’s an honour to be on the shortlist for our first EGR award. This year has seen enormous growth in traffic and revenues on both of our websites. We have a small but close team that has worked incredibly hard all year for these results.”
The ceremony will take place on October 24th at London’s Grosvenor House. The awards will follow a Champagne reception and dinner. The black tie event will be hosted by Welsh comedian Mark Watson, known for his appearances on television shows Mock the Week and Would I Lie to You. He is also an accomplished stand up comedian.
Other hotly contested awards at the event include Affiliate of the Year, Best Bingo Operator and Operator of the Year, the blue riband category.
