The Summer conference season has begun, with our esteemed Commercial Manager Chris currently attending the SBC Summit in Malta.
Formerly known as the CasinoBeats Summit, this event also marks our first award nomination of the season, at the SBC Awards Europe. FTD Digital have been nominated for the first time in the Casino Affiliate of the Year category, sharing a place on the shortlist with heavy hitters like Gambling.com, Mr Gamble, Gentoo Media and Casino Guru.
These awards are taking place at the Hilton Malta, on the very day this news piece is being published! We, of course, do not yet know the result and the competition is stiff, but we hope Chris will return with yet another gong for the company.
FTD Digital have performed exceedingly well in recent industry award shows, most notably in our fantastic triumph at the EGR Operator Awards last October. Operations Director Sue Dawson attended the black-tie event in London and returned to FTD Digital towers with two amazing trophies; the Bingo Affiliate of the Year award, and a Bronze plaque for the headline category “Affiliate of the Year.”
iGB Live! is coming to London for the first time this July and the prestigious iGB Affiliate Awards will once again take place at the Troxy. FTD will be up for not one but two prizes; Bingo Affiliate of the Year and Casino Affiliate of the Year.
The fact that we’re now equally at home in Casino as well as Bingo categories shows how far we’ve come, successfully breaking into new and lucrative verticals.
The bingo affiliate category is really a who’s who of legends in the UK market, as we go up against our old friends and rivals WhichBingo and BingoPort.
The team have already booked our tickets to SBC Lisbon in September, where the inaugural Affiliate Leaders Awards will take place. This ceremony will specifically honour our niche in the industry, which means we have the opportunity to put ourselves forward for a huge variety of different categories. These include:

- Affiliate Account Manager of the Year
- Affiliate Content Manager of the Year
- Affiliate Leader of the Year
