As part of the high-level reshuffle, Matt Wilson will serve as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Executive. Connie James becomes Chief Financial Officer and Siobhan Lane assumes the role of Chief Commercial Officer. SG’s current Gaming Group Chief Executive, Derik Mooberry is to take up an advisory role with a view to supporting the new team.
The three new appointees have each enjoyed successful careers within the iGaming sector. Matt Wilson made a name for himself at Aristocrat, where he acted as President & Managing Director, Americas. Well-respected and highly experienced, Wilson played a major role in developing Aristocrat’s digital growth in the US. He also held the position of Senior Vice-President for Global Gaming Operations.
Connie James joined SG on January 6 and also worked at Aristocrat. During a successful stint at the Uxbridge-based outfit, she served as Chief Financial Officer of its land-based gaming division as well as Corporate Vice President of Finance for Business Operations and Supply Chain. James’ considerable expertise extends to a variety of areas, most notably business and financial operations.
Siobhan Lane has more than twelve years experience in the iGaming sector, specialising in business operations, strategic planning and change management. Lane previously occupied the post of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Gaming Operations at Aristocrat Technologies.
Having started out as a Regional Market Specialist, she quickly rose through the ranks at Aristocrat. Her roles have included Vice President of Gaming Operations North America as well as Senior Director for Product & Marketing Strategy and Gaming Operations.
